How to unbind a HIKVISION Device

 

There are various ways that a Hikvision device can unbind from an existing Hik Connect app account and below are 4 ways that this can be done

  1. Unbind device from the recorder in Platform Access option on the recorder menu options
    1. you would need to know the device admin password to unbind successfully
  2. Using the Hikvision SADP tool installed on a computer on the same network as the recorder
    1. Select device a select Unbind and then follow prompts
  3. Unbind using the hikconnect mobile app
    1. Open the Hik Connect app select add device and then chose to unbind (see video below)
  4. Default the recorder back to factory default to reset all settings
    1. At the main menu screen click on the highlighted icon and choose factory default or select configuration and maintenance option and default the recorder
