How to unbind a HIKVISION Device
There are various ways that a Hikvision device can unbind from an existing Hik Connect app account and below are 4 ways that this can be done
- Unbind device from the recorder in Platform Access option on the recorder menu options
- you would need to know the device admin password to unbind successfully
- Using the Hikvision SADP tool installed on a computer on the same network as the recorder
- Select device a select Unbind and then follow prompts
- Unbind using the hikconnect mobile app
- Open the Hik Connect app select add device and then chose to unbind (see video below)
- Default the recorder back to factory default to reset all settings
- At the main menu screen click on the highlighted icon and choose factory default or select configuration and maintenance option and default the recorder
