Upgrading PRO-view firmware

1. First download latest firmware files from the link below.

2. https://www.sacgroup.co.uk/firmware/firmwarelatest.zip

3. You will be required to extract the entire contents before you perform the update, to do this download the file, right-click it, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

4. Save the downloaded file/files to a USB stick

5. Insert the USB stick into a free USB port in the recorder

6. After that, go into the recorder Main Menu > Configure > System Setup > Utility > Upgrade Firmware select 'from USB' (*** Please note when selecting the firmware to apply to the system, if from the drop down menu there are multiple firmware files that can be applied to the systems, please contact the traders tech support team so that the wrong firmware is not applied to the system ***) then choose the file that you previously saved and click Upgrade.

7. Note: If the file doesn't display in the drop-down list, reboot the DVR with the USB stick still inserted and retry the above steps in the recorder main menu.

8. Once you have done the update it should say it has been successful and it will reboot the unit.

Before updating the firmware, you need to make sure that the update is for the exact device model that you own. If you apply an update that is intended for a similar-but-different model, or the update process is interrupted, your device would be at a serious risk of becoming non-operational.

We cannot guarantee that there is no risk of corrupting device firmware during the update process and if the device that is being updated is not under warranty, then Traders Warehouse is not responsible for problems that may occur during a failed update.
